From Doctor’s Office to Dream Farm
Our little patch of land in Naramata has seen a few chapters.
In the 1980's, ’90s, and early 2000's, this property was home to Naramata’s local doctor’s office, a place where neighbours came for care, connection, and community. Our part in the story began in 2013, when the doctor moved his practice into town...
We saw potential in this land and purchased it that December. Then, for almost 10 years the property was home to a small craft distillery, a warm and welcoming spot that celebrated the creativity and community spirit of Naramata.
Then, the story of this property shifted once again, this time, back to the earth. We’ve rolled up our sleeves and lovingly converted the old commercial space into a home and working farm, piece by piece, by hand. What was once empty, non-productive land now grows rows of flowers, herbs and vegetables used in our products and a greenhouse to raise tiny seedlings and propagate native plants and trees.
Today, Naramata Supply Company is our love letter to this land… a tiny, sustainable farm dedicated to growing organic flowers, herbs, and native plants that reflect the beauty and rhythm of the Okanagan. We propagate, plant, harvest, dry, and create everything right here on the property, crafting small-batch goods that celebrate the scent, flavour, and spirit of this place.
In Summary
What was once a doctor’s office and later a small craft distillery, has found new life as a tiny organic flower and herb farm on the Naramata Bench.
Our story began in 2013, when we purchased this little property with big dreams. After ten years of crafting spirits and welcoming guests to our distillery, we rolled up our sleeves and turned our focus back to the land itself, converting the space by hand into a home, a garden, and a working farm.
Today, Naramata Supply Company grows organic flowers, herbs, and native plants that celebrate the beauty and flavour of the Okanagan. We love being outdoors, hands in the dirt, and bringing our bounty back to the test kitchen, where we turn each harvest into beautiful and delicious things.
Rooted in sustainability and community, we’re a tiny farm with big dreams, growing good things and sharing them with good people.
